The mission

Yoga is a profound way of being—one that invites us to align body, mind, and spirit while fostering growth, balance, and transformation. It is a journey inward, an exploration of our deepest truths, and a practice that enables us to show up in the world with authenticity and purpose. Yoga has the power to heal, connect, and inspire, and it is my mission to uphold and share this sacred tradition in its truest form.

I am deeply committed to raising the standard for yoga teacher trainings by offering programs that go beyond surface-level certifications. Too often, trainings focus solely on physical practice, leaving teachers disconnected from yoga’s philosophical and spiritual roots.

My goal is to create a new paradigm—one that equips teachers with the tools to embody authenticity, integrity, and wisdom both on and off the mat.

Through the integration of Hatha yoga, Ayurvedic principles, and non-dual philosophy, I offer a holistic approach to teaching that honors yoga’s rich traditions while making them accessible and relevant in today’s world. This combination provides students with more than just technical skills; it invites them to step into their own transformation, empowering them to teach with confidence, depth, and clarity.

This work is about more than passing on knowledge. It’s about creating spaces where students can connect deeply to themselves, embody their practice, and feel the profound wisdom of yoga in every aspect of their lives. It’s about guiding teachers to honor the roots of yoga while finding their own unique voice—a voice that resonates with truth and inspires others to embark on their own journeys of self-discovery.

I believe that the future of yoga teaching lies in returning to its essence: a practice of union, connection, and transformation. By nurturing a new generation of teachers who are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and inner alignment to share yoga authentically, we can elevate not only the practice but the communities it touches.

Meet the founder: Lunamay Stinee

Yoga became my path to healing when I was just 14 years old. At a time when I needed grounding and connection, yoga offered me a safe space to explore and heal. A year later, while attending boarding school, I taught yoga for the first time to my peers. In that moment, my heart sang, and a seed was planted. Something inside me knew yoga would always be my calling—a path that could bring both healing and empowerment, not just for me, but for others as well.

Yet, like any meaningful journey, mine hasn’t been linear. The road has been filled with exploration, challenges, and revelations. After completing my first yoga teacher training in 2011 at the age of 22, I embarked on a journey that would take me deeper into understanding the practice and its transformative power. Early in my career, I devoted myself to the rigorous practice of Ashtanga yoga, committing to its demanding sequences with discipline and dedication every single day. At first, it brought me focus and strength.

But as the years passed, I began to notice the toll it was taking on my body and mind. I would wake up with pain in my joints and carry the weight of anxiety that seemed to grow heavier with time. I realized that the very practice I had relied on for grounding and healing was no longer serving me—it had become imbalanced and disconnected from the deeper essence of yoga.

This turning point led me to the healing wisdom of Ayurveda, and eventually, to the heart-centered practice of Anusara yoga. By embracing these teachings, I began to rediscover my relationship with yoga—not just as a physical discipline, but as a holistic practice that integrates mind, body, and spirit. Ayurveda taught me how to align my practice with my body’s unique needs, and Anusara yoga gave me the tools to reconnect with my inner self through alignment and intention. The transformation was profound, bringing healing to my body and clarity to my mind.

Today, my approach to yoga is deeply rooted in these principles of embodiment, alignment, and integration. I believe that yoga is more than movement—it’s a way of connecting to the wisdom within ourselves and the greater universe. Through my teachings, I guide others on their own journeys of self-discovery, healing, and growth, empowering them to embody the true essence of yoga in their lives.

Since 2011, I have completed thousands of hours of advanced training and have had the privilege of teaching both nationally and internationally. I’ve worked with students from all walks of life and have proudly trained over 100 yoga teachers, many of whom have gone on to create thriving communities and practices of their own. Watching my students grow, transform, and step into their potential as teachers is one of the greatest rewards of my work.

Beyond yoga, I am deeply passionate about the interconnectedness of the cosmos, finding inspiration in astrology and human design. As a Leo sun, Taurus moon, and Scorpio rising, I bring heart, groundedness, and a depth of transformation into everything I do. My love for these systems of self-awareness enriches my teaching, helping me to better understand and guide the unique journeys of my students.

At home, I share my life with my partner, Justin, and our two wonderful, curious boys. They are my constant source of inspiration and joy, reminding me daily to strive for balance, authenticity, and growth. They motivate me to live the principles I teach and to continually embody the wisdom and alignment I seek to pass on to others.

For me, yoga is a way of life, a path of constant learning, and a journey of connection. It is my honor to share this path with you and to guide you toward your own discoveries, both on and off the mat.
